Jo Gibney - up close and personal
Hi there,
My name is Jo Gibney and I am the founder
and owner of Organise Now - the premier web site for all you need to
know about organizing yourself, your business, your team and your
office.
I have a formal "bio", so if that's what you're looking for,
But if you want to learn more about the woman behind the bio, you've come to the right page.
I started my own business in 1995, but
before then I worked in HR, training and business development for
nearly 17 years. So the photo you see is very complimentary.
I am pragmatic, well organized and strictly a professional business woman. But I'm more than that to. I believe in :
* The Universal Law of Attraction (go to my other web site called Dragonslayers to check out more about that)
* The idea that fun and laughter is a vital
part of your daily activity - if you're not laughing ten times a day,
you're wasting your time!
* That we are all here to achieve
something, and once we discover what that something is, we start to
move towards the most amazing coincidences that allow us to achieve
with little effort and great personal influence
* Energy is the basic structure of
everything, including me. If I haven't got enough energy, then that is
my primary focus until I feel energized, refreshed and renewed. How to
I do this? Check out the
Dragonslayer site
to learn more.
* My relationships are the only things that
matter in my life. Everything else is simply a reflection of my success
in this core area. My children, my partner, my family, my friends, my
clients - these are the people that make my life the rich tapestry that
it is.
* My most important relationship is with myself. Without that, there is nothing else.
* There is a power outside of myself which
nurtures, protects, guides and directs me towards what is right for me.
I just need to listen and respond.
I have been through a failed, abusive
marriage. I survived. I have watched my children suffer at the hands of
people who they loved and trusted. They survived. I have lost loved
ones who have left enourmous holes in my heart. My heart survived. What
doesn't kill me makes me stronger. And right now, I am very, very
strong.
These are a few of my home-spun
philosophies. Life is an adventure. The hard times are there only to
show us how good the good times really are. They will pass. It will all
pass. Enjoy it while you can.
